Striving to develop human resources capable of managing Asia’s development, led by the concepts of safety and security, in 2014 Kansai University of International Studies (KUIS) reached out to 13 universities in Southeast Asia and launched the Asian Cooperative Program (ACP) Consortium. Since then, KUIS and the ACP university members are striving to enrich various programs and develop human resources capable of managing Asia’s development, led by the concepts of safety and security. In 2021, KUIS is planning to have ACP International Virtual Bootcamp and ACP Online International Symposium in cooperation with Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) and Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM).
Warm greetings from Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT) in Japan!
Throughout its 91 years of history, SIT has proudly and consistently maintained ‘Nurturing engineers who learn from society and contribute to society’ as the philosophy in providing engineering education. Realizing the force of globalization that can no longer be separated from the global economy, SIT highlights the importance of up-to-date framework for ‘learning through practice’ experience by focusing on intensive English Language programs and Project Based Learning programs under a multicultural environment with many Hands-on subjects. With its well-known reputation, SIT currently has 265 laboratories and 200 partner universities.
An online SAKURA exchange program (SEP) has been held on January 6 to 8 2021 via the Zoom platform hosted by the Graduate School of Engineering, Mie University (MU). It was the first time this program was being held online due to the pandemic situation. SEP is an annual program organized together with the Department of Physics – Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Department of Physics – Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), and Research Centre for electronics, Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI). This program aims to encourage graduate students in the Asian region with a strong interest in the field of “material in informatics and energy” to join and initiate future collaboration.

Salah satu syarat utama untuk mendaftar beasiswa tersebut adalah mendapatkan rekomendasi Dekan. Untuk mendapatkan rekomendasi Dekan silahkan untuk mengisi Google-form paling lambat 20 Januari 2021:
Diumumkan bagi calon mahasiswa S2/Magister Prodi Fisika, Prodi Matematika, Prodi Kimia, dan Prodi Ilmu Komputer UGM, mengenai dibukanya Program Gelar Ganda (Double Degree Program – DDP) antara FMIPA UGM dan Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology, Kanazawa University Japan.
Mahasiswa yang dapat mengikuti program ini adalah Mahasiswa S2 dari Prodi Fisika, Prodi Matematika, Prodi Kimia, dan Prodi Ilmu Komputer UGM Angkatan 2020 Periode Februari atau Periode Agustus yang dinyatakan diterima oleh Direktorat Pendidikan dan Pengajaran (DPP) UGM (Bukti Diterima sebagai mahasiswa S2 dapat disusulkan).
The 9th International Conference on Nanostructures, Nanomaterials and Nanoengineering 2020 (ICNNN 2020), is a premier event that address the new advancements and challenges in the field of Nanostructures, Nanomaterials and Nanoengineering. ICNNN 2020 will be held in Fukuoka, Japan during October 30-November 02, 2020.
